If you are a member of ASTA and you live in VA, you are automatically a member of VASTA, the association for teachers and performers of stringed instruments. Membership has many benefits, including discounted admission to many events and discounted instrument insurance. This full-day professional development event is designed for string educators seeking inspiration and practical tools to enhance their teaching. The headline clinician for this year's event is Sarah Ball, offering expert insights and strategies for string instruction. Participants will also attend a reading session, conducting session, cello boot camp, and more.
