COLLEGIATE

COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS

ASTA student chapters support academic studies for string players, create professional networks, and provide opportunities that will propel student career in string education. In addition, many student chapters are involved with outreach to provide service to their community and spread the value of music, strings, and string education.

Currently, the following collegiate chapters are active and doing fabulous work to support, train and inspire the next generation of string teachers:
  • Christopher Newport University
  • George Mason University
  • James Madison University
  • Old Dominion University
  • Shenandoah Conservatory
  • Virginia Commonwealth University
  • Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Sate University
