To support high quality string teaching and playing in the state of Virginia by connecting, engaging, and inspiring a strong community of string teachers and performers empowered to make a difference in the lives of our students, our communities, and our world.

    We'd love to meet you! Come join us at the annual VMEA State Conference and the ASTA National Conference. We always have representatives attending that would love to give you more information!

    Join a Committee

    College Committee: help facilitate and administer the Johonott Scholarship Competition. Contact the President-Elect for more information!

    Communications Committee: help facilitate communication aspects of our organization (website, newsletter, social media, etc.)  Contact the Communications Director for more information!
